TriTek announces the AutoComet™, a robotic microscopy system designed for automatic scanning of comet assay slides. Using a low-light black & white analog camera and a filter cube optimized for SYBR Green.

TriTek engineers have been able to observe the live image of a field of comets, that have received no fixative agent, for 20 minutes without significant degradation in the quality of the image.

And TriTek programmers have developed comet quantification s/w, and data tabulation and plotting s/w to complement this capability.
